My first experience working in ministry was at Portage Lake Covenant Bible Camp in Onekama, Michigan, in the summer of 2009. It was an impactful summer in more ways than one- I learned I loved working with kids, especially to share the good news of Jesus, and I also met my future husband, Nick. Nick and I were married in 2011 and have been teaching high school and middle school students ever since. We’re blessed with three incredible kids of our own: Caroline, Nora, and Harry. We moved “up north” to Maple City from Whitehall, MI, in September of 2022 and are constantly amazed at God’s provision and guidance in bringing us here.

We love spending time with kids to share the news that not only does God love each of us, he made us all on purpose, and he made us ‘tov mo’ed’, or ‘very good’! As is often God’s way, we learn just as much (and probably more!) from the kids as they do from us.
