Diane joined the ministry team here at Glen Lake Community Church in October 2017

after transitioning to the Empire area in March 2017. She previously served 2 churches

as a full-time Worship Leader, Frankenmuth Bible Church in Frankenmuth, MI, and

Journey Ministries in Davison, MI. Before that, she served as a part-time Worship

Leader and volunteer in numerous worship settings, including 15 years as Director of

Red Letter Edition, a music and drama team comprised of high school students,  a

ministry of Youth for Christ.

Diane’s educational background is in nursing, and she has worked in numerous settings,

including adult ICU, Public Health, and Community Mental Health. She retired from her

nursing career in May of 2024. She does occasional work with the Benzie Leelanau

Health Department.

Diane and her husband, Ron, have 3 grown children, 2 amazing daughters-in-law and an

equally amazing son-in-law. They have 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson. They love

the outdoors and all the beauty and activities this area has to offer.
